SITE DEVELOPMENT
Vanderpool Construction's main focus is on site development. We have worked for numerous developers in central and southern Iowa delivering quality results each and every time. We work with developers to ensure that they get the most out of each dollar spent. With our experience, we can make suggestions that may allow you to avoid problems later on in the project.
Vanderpool has the equipment and manpower to tackle just about any sized project. From a subdivsion with hundreds of homes to a single home site, we have the right equipment for the job. Our team has the knowledge and experience to provide you with what you are looking for in a construction partner. We utilize GPS satellite grading to ensure that the grading we do is on grade and to plan every time. The equipment we own is constantly being updated which increases our overall production and safety. These items combined create the building blocks to our Reliability and Integrity.

DEMOLITION
If you have a building that needs to be removed and the site prepared for its next use, Vanderpool Construction is here to walk you through the process.
We have a great reputation for removing buildings and structures while always keeping an eye on safety. We can, in most cases, take down a house in less than a day, which includes hauling away the debris. But we don’t just do houses. We have razed many commercial buildings with the same emphasis on safety and cost effectiveness.
Once demolition is complete, we will work with you to once again develop the site to meet your needs. We can import or export dirt and haul in rock to suit your needs.

UTILITIES
Installing underground pipe has always been a core part of Vanderpool Construction’s business. We have installed water, sanitary sewer, and storm mains in numerous cities and towns all across central and southern Iowa. Vanderpool works closely with developers and municipalities to ensure that the pipe we install will be used for years to come. We are proud of the fact that we have been a key part in helping to make each city and town we work in a cleaner, healthier place in which to live.
But we don’t just install “the big pipe”. We also provide service hookups to individual homes and businesses. We can run a new hookup or fix a problem with an existing line. We will work with you to make the connections or repairs you need while keeping an eye on cost and minimizing disruption to your yard.
Vanderpool Construction is also available to serve customers in rural areas too. We have a long and respected history of installing rural water services and septic systems.

HEAVY HAULING
Vanderpool has a fleet of heavy haul tractors for all of your equipment moving needs. We have the ability to haul very small loads all the way up to 140,000 pounds at one time. Vanderpool is licensed and insured to haul equipment out of state to where ever your destination may be. We consistently update and maintain our heavy haul fleet so we are ready to go at a moments notice to make sure our customers are always taken care of when they need us.

MATERIAL HAULING
Vanderpool Construction has a fleet of trucks that can deliver a wide variety of materials to you and your jobsite. We can deliver crushed limestone, gravel, sand, dirt and more. We will work with you to ensure that you get the right material at the right time so you can complete your project on time.
We offer various types of limestone materials from rip-rap, for an area prone to erosion, to 1" rock for a driveway. We have various sizes of gravel, from 2" for decoration and weed control, to 3/8" for drainage projects. If you’re in need of sand for backfilling around a foundation or for the kids’ sandbox, we have that as well. Recycled crushed concrete, recycled concrete fines and recycled asphalt are available too. Along with the rock and recycled products, we also stock good old black Iowa topsoil and fill dirt. Another recently added item is compost. This is premium, screened compost ready to be spread on your lawn or added to your soil for a variety of uses.
Any of these products are available for delivery by us or you can have it loaded in your truck at our office.
